Promo video for Johnny Cupcake's suitcase tour (which I have made two previous posts about!) with a Cupcake Cannon. "Portland's Kamp Grizzly developed a steam-punk style pneumatic cupcake cannon and set the stage for eating frosty delights at 120psi. The blasting buffet was documented in at 700fps coming off the Phantom HD Gold."

Carnovsky Wallpaper
RGB wallpaper by Carnovsky, which is a Milan-based duo Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla. The wallpaper's images change depending upon the color shone on it.
M.I.A.
M.I.A.'s new video "Born Free" by Romain Gavras, who also did the music video for Justice's "Stress". Both are awesome, stress is still my favorite. He also directed DJ Mehdi's video for "Signatune", which is just as great.

Nothing to Declare
Speaking of David Choe, just yesterday there was a private preview of his new show "Nothing to Declare" at Lazarides in Los Angeles. This is the first show in LA for Choe in over six years. The gigantic space is filled by a variety of pieces, from mixed media paintings with elegant female portraits to small exploratory watercolor illustrations. Choe also takes advantage of the gallery space with his sculptures as well. Take a look below!

David Choe
Picked up a copy of the new Juxtapoz with the entire magazine featuring David Choe. This is a pretty big deal because I can't remember seeing the magazine dedicating the entire issue to one artist. When I first heard of David Choe a couple of years ago, honestly, I wasn't too impressed. But after looking at more of his artwork I am becoming more of a fan everyday. Especially after reading the articles in the magazine, his life story is really intriguing and I would highly recommend for you to buy a copy of the issue or just look him up on the internet. What I like about most of his work is how diverse it is, and how he is not afraid of trying new things, constantly evolving.

While Jeff Koons is more famously known for his enormous balloon animal sculptures, take a look at some of his paintings.

George Lois
George Lois is an icon. His work for Esquire Magazine from 1962 to 1972 is legendary and changed magazine design forever. More "unknown" advertisement works are his "I want my Mtv" campaign, marketing the term Lean cuisine for the gourmet frozen food industry, and his "Think small" campaign work for Volkswagon (and these are only naming a few of his accomplishments).
