InLight Richmond

Here are a few photos from Friday night at 1708 Gallery's second annual exhibition of outdoor "light-inspired" art. The light-inspired works of art were displayed in gallery windows and on the sides of commercial buildings. While other works could be viewed through video and sound projections, interactive installations and dance and performance art.

"Their ephemeral presence urges us not only to join in the celebration of light but also claim back and animate, in a creative and memorable way, a part of the city otherwise inactive at night." Adelina Vlas

This piece was made by my roommate, Vinita Phonseya, and her interior design group.
