Went to the Jeff Staple lecture today at VCU's Brand Center... and it was very inspiring. Loved how he incorporated all the things he loved into his brand (which includes sneakers, fashion, art, design, music...) His success is crazy... and really respectful.
Thought his most interesting points were:
You need to find that thing that makes you supremely happy because if you are unhappy, there is nothing you can do. You are useless, and you can't make others feel happy. But when you do find happiness, you're attitude is infectious and you can create a better world.

A great designer is a great communicator.
